Privacy Policy

AlphaForge AI Labs ("we", "us", "our") operates CLS++ ("Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide the Service — Store, retrieve, and manage your memory data across AI models
• Authentication — Verify your identity via email/password or Google OAuth
• Billing — Track usage against your tier limits and process upgrades
• Analytics — Understand how the Service is used to improve it
• Security — Detect and prevent abuse, rate limiting, and unauthorized access

3. What We Do NOT Do

• We do not sell your data to third parties
• We do not use your memory data to train AI models
• We do not share your data with advertisers
• We do not read your stored memories except for debugging with your consent
• We do not track your browsing outside of CLS++ extension interactions

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in PostgreSQL databases hosted on Render.com (US infrastructure). All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3). API keys are stored as SHA-256 hashes — we never store raw keys. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt (12 rounds).

5. Data Retention

• Memory data — Retained until you delete it or close your account
• Usage metrics — Retained for 35 days in Redis, monthly snapshots in PostgreSQL
• Account data — Retained until account deletion
• Extension analytics — Aggregated DAU/MAU data retained for 65 days

6. Your Rights (GDPR & Global)

You have the right to:

• Access — View all data we hold about you via the dashboard or API
• Delete — Delete your memories via brain.forget() or the API. Delete your account by contacting us.
• Export — Export your data via the API (GET /api/memories/{uid})
• Correct — Update your profile and correct stored facts
• Restrict — Disable auto-inject in the extension to stop memory collection

7. Browser Extension

The CLS++ Chrome extension:

• Captures user and assistant messages on ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini pages
• Sends captured text to the CLS++ server for memory storage
• Injects memory context into LLM prompts to provide personalization
• Does not access any other websites or browsing data
• Can be disabled via the "Auto-inject" toggle in the extension popup
• Stores a per-browser UID in chrome.storage.local (no cookies)

8. Third-Party Services

9. Children

The Service is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in the United States (Render.com infrastructure). By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. The "Effective Date" at the top will be updated.
