Privacy Policy

CLS++ is operated by Continuous Learning Systems (CLS++), based in Bengaluru, India. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean that company.

This policy covers clsplusplus.com, CLS++ accounts and the tools behind sign-in, and the pilots we run with lenders.

• When you ask for a pilot review or write to us: your name, work email, organisation, and whatever you tell us about your loan book.
• When you create an account: your name, email address and a password. We store the password only in hashed form.
• When you use a signed-in tool or the API: the content you choose to store or send through it.
• When you pay online: billing details. Card and bank details go straight to our payment provider. We do not store them.
• When you send feedback from inside the app: your message, a screenshot of the page you were on, and basic browser and device details.
• When you browse: the pages you open, what you click, your browser and device type, and an approximate location worked out from your IP address.

• cls_session keeps you signed in.
• cls_did is a random visitor number, kept for one year, so a returning visitor is counted once.
• cls_ref remembers, for 30 days, which of our posts or links brought you here.
• Our analytics provider also keeps an identifier in your browser.
• cls_path_v1 is kept in your browser’s own storage, not in a cookie, for 30 days from your last visit. It holds what you did on the homepage: the role you picked, the sections you read, the questions you asked, and the number you worked out with the calculator. The homepage uses it to pick up where you left off. It has no name, no email and no identifier, and it never leaves your browser unless you ask for a pilot review, when it is written into the email for you to edit. “Forget what you learned about me” on the homepage deletes it.

You can clear or block these in your browser. The site still works, but you will be signed out and the homepage will start over.

In a pilot, the lender decides which borrower data we receive and what we may do with it. We process it only on the lender's written instructions, under an agreement with that lender, and we host it in an India cloud region. We do not use it for any other purpose.

If you are a borrower, your lender is the right first contact for questions about your data. We will help them answer.

• To provide CLS++ and keep it running
• To answer your questions and run a pilot you asked for
• To bill you and keep the records the law requires
• To keep accounts and the service secure, and to prevent fraud and abuse
• To see which pages and posts are useful, and improve them
• To send service notices. We send marketing email only if you asked for it, and you can tell us to stop at any time.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with advertisers.

We use service providers to run CLS++:

• Vercel, for website hosting and page analytics
• Render, for application and database hosting
• PostHog, for product analytics
• Resend, for email delivery
• Razorpay, for payments
• AI model providers, when you use a signed-in feature that sends your content to a model

Some of these providers process data outside India. We also disclose information when the law requires it, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case we will tell you.

Connections to CLS++ are encrypted in transit. Passwords are stored only in hashed form. Access to production systems is limited to the people who need it to run the service.

No service can promise perfect security. If you think your account has been misused, write to us straight away.

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires. When you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we delete it or make it anonymous, unless the law requires us to keep a record.

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and similar laws elsewhere, you can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it
• Correct or update it
• Erase it
• Stop using it where you have withdrawn your consent
• Deal with someone you have nominated to act for you

CLS++ is a business service. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
